Which specialty services do you offer?

We provide limewash finishes, wood staining, drywall repair and texture matching, popcorn ceiling removal, and fence painting for San Antonio homes.

What is limewash and where does it work best?

Limewash is a breathable mineral coating ideal for brick and stone. It creates a soft, natural look while allowing masonry to release moisture.

How long does limewash last in San Antonio weather?

With proper prep and application, limewash can last many years. It develops a patina over time and can be refreshed with additional coats when desired.

Do you offer staining for decks, doors, and trim?

Yes. We stain decks, fences, doors, beams, and exterior trim using products designed for UV and moisture resistance in Texas conditions.

Can you match my existing stain color or finish?

We create test samples to match or closely blend with existing tones. Final selection is confirmed with you in natural lighting.

Do you repair drywall before painting?

Yes. We fix cracks, nail pops, dents, and water-stain areas, then prime and match texture so walls and ceilings finish evenly.

Is popcorn ceiling removal messy or unsafe?

We contain the area, protect floors and vents, and clean thoroughly after removal. For homes built in older eras, testing by a licensed lab may be required before disturbance.

How long does popcorn ceiling removal take?

Most single rooms take 1–2 days for removal, skim coating, priming, and repainting. Timelines vary by ceiling size and condition.

What prep is included for fence painting or staining?

We wash or sand as needed, address failing coatings, and back-brush for penetration. Work is scheduled in a weather window for proper curing.

Which products do you use for specialty services?

We use low-VOC interior products and exterior coatings rated for UV, humidity, and mildew resistance, selected for each surface and use case.

Do you provide written estimates and timelines?

Yes. Estimates outline scope, surface prep, products, and schedule so you know exactly what to expect before work begins.

Do you serve all of San Antonio?

We serve San Antonio and nearby areas. Share your ZIP code and we’ll confirm availability and the earliest start date.

Is there a warranty on specialty work?

Yes. We stand behind our workmanship. Warranty terms are included with your written estimate and vary by service and surface condition.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Revival was great to work with. Parker was very responsive to our requests and feedback. The work crew show up on time, did excellent work and cleaned up immaculately afterwards. Isaac one of the workers took extra care and effort to ensure that the every nook and cranny was stained and that no spots were missed.

The before pictures show the fading and after pictures were a bit darker due to the sun moving to the front of the house. However you can see the dark shee and lack of grey fading.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently hired Revival Painting, owned by David Gonzalez, to paint our backyard shed and patio, and he did an amazing job! David beautifully coordinated the colors of our shed with our home's front entrance, creating a cohesive look that we absolutely love.
We are extremely pleased with the quality of his work and the beautiful results. If you're looking for a painter, I highly recommend Revival Painting!
It's also wonderful to support a locally owned, veteran-owned business. Thank you, David, for bringing our vision to life!
